I don't understand the positive feedback this ball is getting...

I've had a few different balls that I've used on outdoor courts, and this is by far the worst. Unless you have a perfect shot, every single time the ball hits the rim, even the inside, it will bounce out, GUARANTEED. Not only that, the ridges in the ball are way too deep. They seriously get in the way of your shot. That being said, they do provide for a good grip. So the only way I would recommend you buy this ball is if all you do is lay-ups and dunks.

Great Outdoor Basketball

This ball is perfect for what it is made to do and that is to perform well outdoors. I use this ball 3-4 times a week on average and have found that it seems to get better with use. It tends to be a little bouncy but this is assuaged by simply releasing some air. Looks good, bounces well, and just having it makes you want to play with it.
