Terrible customer service and quality
I have used a Suunto heartrate monitor running solution in the past and had a few challenges with the monitor. I ordered the RS800cx run package. Upon receipt the elastic belt contacts came off the first time I took on the belt. I contacted the company and they refused to take the product back as a return. They stated "you have to contact Polar" we handle no returns or repairs. It is not our problem. Totally unacceptable service. I now have to pay postage...
Polar RS800CX Multi-Sport Watch
I owned the Garmin 405 before buying this watch and I would have to say that Polar is really behind in the running watch category. The cost of this watch does not justify the lack of built in GPS and features that Garmin offers. This Polar package honestly should cost maybe $250 but not $400+. The biggest cons I would list is the uploading with the attached infrared sensor and the lack of auto scroll while training and no GPS unless you buy a bulky looking...
